I have had a really good feeling about this game for awhile. Tonight will be the start of Auburn's fall back to reality.
UK 78
Auburn 73Comment

Some folks giving UK a better chance in this one than the TAMU game.
Uh....no.
That giant wiener Pearl will be sweating like a pig in his pre game speech to fire up his team to throttle this weak bunch. AU will run....run...and then run some more. Cal will be yelling to slow it down and going with the run SGA down the lane offense.
Auburn - 86
UK - 72
And it won’t be that close. NIT discussion will ensue.Comment

A much better chance. A&M is twice the team Auburn is.Some folks giving UK a better chance in this one than the TAMU game.

Auburn is a very good offensive team with Brown. Defensively they'll give you some things.
Texas A&M is sort of the inverse. Not sure if they have the offense to make a deep run but they play that grinding style that wins in March.
It's hard to argue with what Auburn has done on the year. I've only watched them twice but like a lot of Pearl's teams they play very hard, deny virtually every pass, and he happens to have one of the nation's best shooters this season.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Auburn, TAMU, and Tennessee were all in the Sweet Sixteen. TAMU is more of a mystery because they tend to not have a stable locker room. Tennessee doesn't have a star in the backcourt. Auburn has that star; Brown has been one of the weirder stories in college basketball this season.Comment

I've seen Auburn 3 or 4 times and came away from that totally unimpressed. They can score, that's it. No defense. No size. How they have the wins they do is beyond me.

I wouldn't argue a bit about A&M or UT being in the sweet 16. I don't see it with Auburn. They have to me the look of that high seeded team that gets knocked out early. But that seeding will likely drop as I see tonight being the start of a handful of losses for them. I wouldn't even count on them winning the SEC.Comment
